Thanks to FB I recently reconnected with an old friend Tiana who is now a yogi. Today we did some yoga photographs in the studio. I wanted to create silhouettes of the different asanas. Tiana did a great job and her asanas are as perfect. Strength and balance combined with ease and grace. The pictures came out beautiful.

Technical note.
Those with a sharp eye will see the hairs on the side of the first two images. These are hairs on the sensor that must have been left from when I cleaned it just before the shoot. The Canon 5D is terribly prone to dust. The shutter creates its own dust that ends up on the sensor. It almost needs cleaning before every shoot. However the images from this camera more than make up for the dust problem. Incredible image quality.
